$17 Million
Grants to Catholic Schools: $12 Million Impact: Strengthening our Catholic schools to provide our children academically excellent, faithfilled education.
All of us share the responsibility for ensuring that urban, rural, and suburban Catholic schools remain viable and strong. Your gift will help provide $12 million in grants to fund program improvements, tuition assistance, instructional resources, and updated technology. These funds will help the schools in our Archdiocese, the eighth largest system of Catholic schools in the country, best serve their more than 26,000 students. All 102 elementary and high schools of the Archdiocese will be able to apply for grants, some of which will be immediately available and others as part of an endowed fund to meet future needs.
Catholic schools have the power to transform our communities by providing excellent academic education in a culture that integrates faith, culture, and life. Catholic schools offer environments that prepare the future leaders of our Church and society by educating them spiritually, academically, and socially for success.
Seton Catholic Schools: $5 Million Impact: Providing a strong academic education rooted in our Catholic faith to students in urban and low-income neighborhoods.
The majority of children attending Seton Catholic Schools reside in low-income areas of the City of Milwaukee, and many lack adequate preparation for academic success in high school and beyond. Our commitment to Catholic social responsibility extends to these students and their families. Seton Catholic Schools is an integral part of the system of Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
The mission of Seton Schools is to tap into the resources of all its schools to provide an outstanding, faith-based, and well-rounded education to its students. The Seton model includes having families of students actively engaged in their education. With a proven record of improving academic performance, Seton schools are committed to being safe places and beacons of light for the neighborhoods where they are located.
Funds from the campaign will help Seton Schools by adding new schools to its system and additional programs to promote academic success.
