Love One Another Capital Campaign 2021

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, New Berlin

Our Parish Roots

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish was founded on the feast day of Mother Seton, January 4, 1981 under the leadership of Father Bernie Sippel. The first building where Mass was celebrated was a house on Brentwood Drive. Construction of the original church began in early 1982 and the first Mass was celebrated on December 24, 1982. The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton community continued to grow, until there was only standing room at some Masses and Christian Formation classes were unable to be hosted at parishioners houses. In 1998, construction began on a new church, designed to maintain the intimacy of the former church while increasing the overall size. The original church was converted into a parish hall, and the first Mass was held in our current church on Holy Thursday, 2000.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton remains a growing community that inspires all to follow Jesus with a spirit of inclusion, compassion and service. We encourage all to deepen theirrelationship with Jesus through scripture, prayer, stewardship and ministry to others.

  CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS - $542,884

We are blessed to have a beautiful building where we come together as a parish family to celebrate the Eucharist, pray and continue God’s work in and around New Berlin. In order to continue to be good stewards of our house of worship, we will use the money raised from the campaign for a number of capital improvement projects. This includes an upgrade to our building security, updating the external and internal locks to be made keyless, and installing security cameras around our complex. In the parish interior, we will replace the 40 year old carpeting and chairs in Sippel hall, potentially update the cabinets and appliances in our lower level kitchen, and possibly convert the lower level into a multipurpose area with office, classroom, and meeting spaces. Finally on the exterior, funds will be used to resurface the silo behind our complex.

  MISSION AND MINISTRY - $300,000

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton proudly supports Notre Dame Middle School in Milwaukee with volunteer labor and donations. The parish would like to provide high school scholarships for students in need of financial assistance. In addition, our parish would like to supplement our parishioner’s generosity with a grant program to benefit the various charities that they support.
