Over the last couple years, we tightened our budget as we retired our debt. This forced us to defer some critical maintenance projects to our aging campus that now must be addressed. With the raised funds, we will resurface our parking lots and replace significant portions of our curb and sidewalks, as well as begin repairs to our roof, brickwork, doors, and windows. Our school building is also in need of capital improvements, including upgrades to the electrical and HVAC systems, as well as the classrooms, windows and doors.
In order to proactively grow our parish, empower evangelization and increase stewardship, we must invest in updating our technology and hardware systems used by the parish. This includes overhauling our data management systems, and updating our website, social media and phone systems to be more responsive to the call to make disciples.
Establishing post sacramental evangelization programming is integral to forming deeper relationships with parishioners as it allows us to walk with people on their Catholic faith journey. We have struggled in the past to maximize the effectiveness of our religious programming due to physical and technological limitations. To relieve this, we will use funds to expand our meeting spaces and invest in up-to-date curriculum and learning equipment and technology for both school and adult formation.
