To continue being good stewards of our parish, we need to invest in our worship space as the center of our campus and make it a place that inspires, invites, and gives Glory to God. Planned projects include but are not limited to replacing the pews and kneelers, upgrading our carpeting, and installing modern lighting. Making the necessary renovations will allow us to continue to be a vibrant beacon of God’s Word and allow us to grow our mission and ministry.
Our campus receives extensive foot and automobile traffic. A new lighting plan will create a more welcoming and safe parish campus. Our plan is to install new light poles and new fixtures to mount more lights in our parking lots and along the exterior of our buildings. This safety improvement will improve visibility in our campus during late hours.
Faith formation and outreach is at the core of our Catholic faith, and our parish would like to invest in a number of items to expand our impact to our local and international community. With the funds raised, we intend to purchase educational items for our catechist and formation ministers. Purchasing materials for the Lenten and Advent season will help all parishioners deepen their faith.
In addition, we must invest in our outreach programs, which include Catholic Charities, food pantries, and our partnership with our sister parish, St. Peter Claver, in Belize.
