The roofs of the rectory and garage have served the community at St. Joseph Parish well for many years. Now, they are starting to fail and require replacement. This repair involves the installation of new flashing around the chimney, siding, and steps as well as the installation of fiberglass ridge vents and new PVC boots. Undertaking these projects will ensure that priests, staff, and parishioners are protected from the harsh winters for decades to come.
The rectory driveway and garage doors need to be replaced. The driveway is cracked and difficult to walk on, and the garage door is warped. This investment will aid in the increased safety of visitors and staff.
The service of faith is one of the cornerstones of both this campaign and our parish. St. Joseph has two annual mission trips; one for teens and one for adults. We hope to dedicate a portion of the raised funds to create a source of scholarship for teens and adults to attend and continue the tradition of these trips long into the future.
Due to the continuous pressure placed upon the current windows and large temperature fluctuations, moisture is constantly collected between the glass, causing fast deterioration. Replacement is needed to ensure maximum lighting throughout the day and during Mass. This upgrade will greatly enhance natural light within our place of worship.
