Love One Another Capital Campaign 2021

St. Mary of the Hill, Hubertus

Our Parish Roots

In 1924, after multiple devastating fires left our parishioners without a place in which to worship, Archbishop Messmer dedicated St. Mary of the Hill Parish.

Forming this new parish was an ambitious undertaking, which took many years of planning to develop what is now the heart of St. Mary of the Hill parish family.

While our building may appear humble to visitors, it represents a resiliant congregation of faith-filled members. Today, our robust parish has an active sacramental life and regularly hosts community events, inviting travelers and parish members to gather on Sundays, participate in religious education, share meals, and organize outreach. Together, with prayer and action we live out our Baptismal call.

Our Share

Through much prayer, planning and conversation, we have identified our greatest needs and initiatives to strengthen our mission and vision for years to come. Our share of the funds raised will be used to renovate and revitalize our dedicated worship space here at the parish.

In order to complete this project we will need to have a future fundraiser. We are unsure of the final cost of our Dedicated Worship Space at this time; be we are not expecting it to exceed $1.3 million, when it is completed in 2025.

Our parish is in need of a Dedicated Worship Space. Now, as we embark upon an ambitious undertaking to provide for current and future members of the Catholic community, the needy, the youth, and families of the greater Hubertus area, we are filled with faith. The Dedicated Worship Space Committee has been meeting since it's inception in 2018, and after receiving quotes from building companies, a structured plan has begun to emerge. With your support, we will be able to construct a Dedicated Worship Space with a raised sanctuary, kneelers, a prominent tabernacle, and a designated Baptismal font. With these revitalization efforts underway, our parish will be able to meet the needs of tomorrow and continue the rich legacy of this growing parish. Thank you for your support, prayers, and dedication to St. Mary of the Hill Parish and of our family-based community.
